You only live once.

Parents often pass their dreams to their kids.

They look at their lives, see the struggles, the missed opportunities, the social and financial positions they wish were different.

And in their children, they see a 'chance' to make it right.

They gather every lesson, hardship, and regret, wrapping it in wisdom—hoping their children will make better choices and achieve different, better 'results'.

Well...when we die, we immediately see the 'results' of our deeds – and obviously we don’t like what we see.

And we scream for another 'chance'…

"My Lord, send me back that I might do righteousness in that which I left behind." (Surah Al-Mu'minun 23:99)

Imagine that.

Standing before Allah, realizing a wasted life, begging for another 'chance', and being told it’s too late.

Too late. It’s done.

No more chances. No do-overs. The book is closed.

And it’s not just about punishment.

Even if Allah doesn’t punish us with fire, that feeling of knowing you could have done more, been better, but you didn’t.

What if the real punishment is “regret”? And it’s eternal. Forever. Unending.

Such regret alone is a punishment beyond imagination.

You only live once - This life is our one chance.

Don’t let that be you.
Don’t let that be me.
Let’s do better. Now.

May Allah help us understand his blessing, and guide us to the straight path.
